Too many tabs open. Still no plan.
You want to make the most of London, but there's so much to choose from. You've spent hours working out where to go and which sights are actually worth your time. And you're still not sure.
We've lived in London for over 8.5 years, and we know the best places to go. So we pinned them all on one map.
Everything's in one place, so you can see what's clustered together and plan a day around it, without zigzagging across London and wasting half your time travelling.
What's on the map?
400 + places split into 10 categories: free viewpoints, hidden gems, bars, restaurants, pubs, cafes, markets, tourist sights, museums and walks and parks.
Food and drink
For every budget. Marked from £ to ££££, so you can choose by budget and the vibe you're after. From a quick, cheap bite to a special occasion with skyline views and a cocktail.
Only places we 100% recommend, and every one is somewhere we've tried and loved. If somewhere's known for a particular dish, we say so.
Chains: every location is in the description, so you can see if another one suits you better.
Around 60 pubs, because you can't beat a London pub
Things to do
Lots of free things to do. London can be expensive, but you don't have to spend a fortune.
Museums and attractions: what's free, what the paid ones cost, which ones need tickets, and opening times where relevant.
Free viewpoints: which need tickets booked ahead and when they're released because they go fast.
Walks with routes, food and drink stops along the way, and distances.
Hidden gems and local secrets away from the crowds.
Always up to date
Free updates. When we find somewhere new we love, we add it. If somewhere closes or goes downhill, we take it off. You'll see the changes when you open the map.

Who made it?
London beyond the tourist spots
Hi, we're Helen and Andy, and we've lived in London for over 8.5 years. We only planned to stay for 2, but we fell completely in love with the city, so we bought a house and have no plans to leave.
What do we love so much about it?
Almost everything (we'll leave the tube out of it). The food from all over the world. Neighbourhoods that are all so different. Huge parks at the heart of local communities. The tiny details and random art you stumble across by accident. And the contrast between old and new, where you can see how much London has changed over the centuries.
And this map is how we share that London with you. It has the tourist sights, plus the hidden gems and local secrets, all in one place and sorted into 10 categories. And if a tourist sight isn't worth your time or money, we'll say so (some are massive tourist traps; hello, Leicester Square!).
